Bamford Academy Theme Song written and performed by India, Zara and Charlotte in their music technology lessons with Mr Pete Douglas of MTC Education. Music technology lessons take place every Tuesday for Key Stage 2 children. Over the year each child will spend 3 full days learning these skills.
Bamford is an Academy school catering for the age range from 4 to 11+. Children are admitted to our Reception class at the beginning of the school year during which they attain the age of five. At present they leave us seven years later when they are eleven and are admitted to High School.
Our large and spacious school opened in 1960. All the infant classes have their own cloakroom and toilet facilities. There is also a Library, Music room and ICT suite.
The School Hall is used for Assemblies, Physical Education, School Concerts. We have our own purpose built dining room. There are three hard surface playing areas and the grass playing fields extend to two hectares.
