Talent Night - Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 1st May - available from Academy office and also from the Box Office at Middelton Arena. Adults £6.00, Concessions £5.00 & Family tickets at £20.00. We hope to see you there :)
Thank you very much to Class 3 & Miss Litherland for a brilliant assembly last Friday, it was a great start to the day. Thank you so much to all the parents/grand parents who came and supported us. You support is much appreciated.
Don't forget school is open for coffee mornings on Fridays 8.30 - 9.30 am and Monday afternoons 2.30 - 3.30pm. Please feel free to drop in for a chat and a cup of coffee. On Fridays - toast and Bacon Butties are also available.
Up and Coming Events:-
We will be commencing our Science week this Friday with a 'Madscience ' Assembly - this will be hosted by an outside company and the aim is to get the children all excited and enthused about Science for the following week when we will be doing a lot of science and experiments!
Monday 29th April -
Class Photographs will be taken today. Please make sure your child/ren are in full school uniform and if possible send a brush/comb with them.
Thursday 2nd May
Talent Night - Technical & Dress Rehearsal at Middleton Arena. 4.00 - 9.00pm. If your child is taking part then they will be given a time slot later this week.
Year 3 & 4 Trip to Robinwood
Friday 3rd May - Sunday 5th May. The children (and staff) are eagerly looking forward to this trip. This is always a highlight of the school year for the children - let's just hope the weather holds out.
Monday 6th May - Bank Holiday - School Closed
Friday 10th May - Talent Night @ Middleton Arena 7.00 pm.
This is a new bigger venue for us and we have been amazed at the high level and amount of talent of the children taking part. Tickets will be going on sale at the end of next week.
Monday 13th May - SAT's & Book Fair Week
Please make sure your child is in school every day and on time :) All Key Stage 2 children (Year 3 - 6) will be undertaking assessment tests during this week.
Wednesday 15th May - Sunday 19th May
Visit to Spain for Year 5 & 6 - the pupils & staff who are involved in this have all the details. this is a first for us in taking pupils although we have been taking part in teacher exchanges for a number of years.
