Children's University

Children's University is a charity that works in partnership wtih schools and local organisations across the country to develop a love of learning in children, raise aspirations and develop skills.

At Bamford Academy, we encourage our pupils to take part in the Children's University so that they can log their extra-curricular activities both inside and outside of school, gaining rewards for their particpation with milestone certificates and a graduation ceremony at thte end of the school year.

Rochdale Children's University is run by Altus Education Partnership, who we are proud to be a part of.

Create Rochdale

Altus Education Partnership is proud to be part of Create Rochdale, a network of organisations working together to improve access to cultural education for children and young people across the borough of Rochdale. Together we’ve written an Impact Report which provides examples of cultural education in Rochdale contributing to children being safe, healthy, successful and heard. The report also explains how the Create Rochdale network is working towards a shared vision where every child in Rochdale has access to high quality and diverse cultural experiences.
