The Mayor visits Bamford Boost!

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Rochdale, Mrs Janet Emsley, and her Consort, Mr Ken Emsley, to Bamford Boost! on Friday 27th June. Their visit was a wonderful opportunity to share how we're delivering the UK Government's Free Breakfast Club pilot here at Bamford Academy.

The Mayor and Consort joined the children for breakfast, sampling the fantastic food options available. They spent time chatting with the pupils about the activities they were enjoying and what they love most about Bamford Boost!

A heartfelt thank you to the Mayor and Consort for taking the time to visit. The children thoroughly enjoyed your company - and were especially fascinated by the Chain of Office you so proudly wear.

We’re proud to be the only school in Rochdale chosen for the UK Governments Early Adopter Breakfast Club pilot. The free provision is open every day from 8:00am for reception to year 6, this exciting club gives our pupils a warm, social, and happy start to the day!
